My career began with Kathy on March 12th, 1984 as a single mom of two young ladies, ages 6 and 8. Transitioning from two jobs and night school, this was the first time I felt like I could breathe! The priorities set by Kathy in the office were not quotas, they were people. That was something in which I could feel good about investing my time and energy. It has been an interesting ride – to say the least. I still enjoy getting up to head to work… Each day is different and I learn something new every day! It is a wonderful feeling to be able to help our clientele protect themselves, and to be there for their families as they grow and change! State Farm offers a huge line of insurances to help our clientele from Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, to Life Insurance to Pet insurance. Besides that, it is a joy working with Kathy, Nancy, and Peggy. We make a very good team. When I am not at work I enjoy relaxing at home, reading, DANCING (especially) and taking trips with my husband. My children are now grown with children of their own, and my biggest enjoyment is watching my grandchildren as they grow up!

I have been with Kathy Smith since 2002. Before Kathy’s office I started in 1992 working for Ken Martin, Kathy’s son in-law. They are a wonderful family to work and grow with. We have many insurance products that. Auto Insurance, Motorcycle Insurance, Life Insurance, Pet Insurance, and many more to help our clientele protect their family and their assets!
In my free time, I enjoy making memories with my granddaughters by riding bike, taking strolls and watching Disney movies over and over and over again, Barbie is our new favorite friend. I am a newlywed we enjoy traveling, remote control planes, helicopters, drones and boats.
State Farm has been part of my life for a long time, through many hurricanes and tropical storms and recently through a terrible pandemic, I like our customers to feel that we are part of their family riding the storms and anything that can affect their lives, together.

I have worked for State Farm since 1974. There was an 8 and ½ years break when my husband was assigned to U S Custom Pre-Clearance in Freeport, Bahamas. I loved living on an island-magnificent beaches, very friendly people and a great place to raise my son and daughter. They both learned to swim before they could walk. I’m a true island girl- always will have sand in my shoes.
My leisure time is spent pampering my dog Roxy, crocheting baby blankets for friends, and cheering the Yankees on to victory. I also work with the Fraternal Order of Police supporting their charity work. When I get a chance I love to sit on the beach at sunset to watch nature’s symphony of colors as the sun sets.
